La Saladita, Guerrero · Mexico
A house, and a
garden of your own
One hundred metres from one of the longest left-hand waves in Mexico. Wake up, cross the lawn, paddle out.
Built by people who live here
Exposed parota beams, poured concrete counters, hand-made cabinetry, terracotta roof tiles. Casa Nisha was finished with the kind of care you rarely find in a rental — and then furnished to actually be lived in, not photographed.

The garden is the point
Most houses in La Saladita sit on a slab. This one sits inside a walled tropical park — banana trees, palms, flowering beds and a lawn wide enough to wax a board, throw a ball for the dogs, or do nothing at all.
- Outdoor showerOpen-air, under the palms. Rinse off before you walk inside.
- RooftopStairs off the garden lead up to the roof terrace.
- DogsWalled and private. Two dogs are welcome.
- All yoursThe whole garden belongs to the house. Nothing shared.

Two minutes to the wave
La Saladita is a small fishing village on the Pacific coast of Guerrero. Dirt roads, no resorts, no crowds — and a long, mellow left-hand point break that longboarders fly in for from all over the world. It breaks year-round and holds its shape from top to bottom.
A handful of restaurants sit within walking distance: Marea for sunset, Benny's for lunch after a session, Acadia for coffee.
